12 Weeks and Counting!

We've passed the 12 week mark!   We're headed into the second trimester and things are going so well.  We recently had our 12 week visit with the doctor and got some great ultrasound images.  We saw tiny legs, arms and the little one even decided to give us a wave!  It took a while for the ultrasound tech to get a good shot of the baby because he/she was moving all about.  It was the coolest thing to watch our baby twist and turn in it's little home.  I even had to do jumping jacks and walk around the room so that the baby would change positions in hopes that the tech could get the image that she needed!  The heart rate was 159 bpm and the baby is growing just as it should be.  Our due date is June 12, 2011 so our little one will be making his/her arrival during the beautiful Spring season.  John and I both feel so incredibly blessed and wanted to share all of our amazing moments with our friends and family who have supported us from the beginning.  Our next appointment is in a couple of weeks so we'll have more updates then!  Love and blessings to all!
